Wake Forest University and the University of Virginia will begin their football match at 3:45 p.m. Saturday at Allegacy Financial Stadium. The game airs on ESPN2. Coach Jake Dickert stated in the summer that he believed the two schools had an agreement to celebrate Halloween in style. The specific time was chosen to align with that tradition.
Fans can access the stadium lots beginning at 10:45 a.m. Student tailgates, the ticket office, and the Lowe’s Foods DEACTOWN Fan Zone all open at 12:45 p.m. The Deacon Walk starts at 1:30 p.m. The Touchdown Club, Flow Lexus Club, and Pollard Club open at 1:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., respectively. All stadium gates open at 2:15 p.m. Team warmups occur at 2:45 p.m., and the pregame show begins at 3:15 p.m.
The ACC Network will host two live shows in Winston-Salem. ACC PM airs Friday from 5 to 6 p.m. ACC Huddle airs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The Huddle set is located at Manchester Plaza, in front of Bostwick and Johnson Residence Halls. Taylor Tannebaum, Eric Mac Lain, Eddie Royal, and Jimbo Fisher will host the Saturday segment. Coach Dickert is scheduled to join the set live at 10:30 a.m.
Parking restrictions apply during the ACC PM broadcast. Lots B, C, D, P, parts of Lot Q, and sections of Wake Forest Road near Wait Chapel are reserved all day. Drivers are advised to use Parking Lot W1 or Lower Davis field. If Lot W1 fills, additional parking is available at 2400 Reynolda Road. Shuttles run from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. They drop passengers at a hub near Kitchin and Poteat Halls.
College football analyst Josh Pate, former NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, will host a live show at Manchester Plaza. The program, titled Bussin’ and Pate on Campus, runs from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday. It streams live on ESPN. Coach Dickert will appear on the show at 2:30 p.m.
The Deacon Shop, operated by Follett, will sell select student-athlete jerseys at the stadium. Fans can also purchase jerseys online through WakeForestShop.com. The shop offers a way for fans to show team pride with game day apparel.
