Amazon has dropped the price of its Fire HD 10 tablet to 53% off. The discount brings the cost of the device to well under $100. The sale applies only to remaining stock.

The retailer announced the price cut on Saturday. The move coincides with the launch of a new tablet lineup. The new models feature Alexa branding. The older Fire tablets are being phased out of the product catalog.

The Fire HD 10 includes a 10.1-inch display with 1080p resolution. It contains 3GB of RAM. The battery lasts up to 13 hours on a single charge. Front and rear cameras both have 5MP sensors. The device supports an optional stylus for notes and sketches.

Amazon built Alexa directly into the tablet. Users can play music or control smart home devices without holding the unit. The tablet runs Fire OS instead of standard Android. Shoppers access apps through the Amazon Appstore rather than Google Play.

The specific model listed in the sale has more than 34,000 five-star reviews. The screen is designed for streaming services like Prime Video and Netflix. It also supports video calls and casual games.

The sale ends when the current supply runs out. After that point, the specific discounted version will be gone. The new Alexa-branded tablets will replace the older models in Amazon’s lineup.
