KAFE 104.1 Launches $10,500 Christmas Wish Program

The maximum value for a single request in the KAFE 104.1 Christmas Wish campaign is $10,500. The radio station opened its entry window at 6:00 a.m. on November 2, 2026. Submissions remain open until 8:59 a.m. on December 23, 2026. Participants may nominate themselves, friends, or relatives for consideration.

Entries require specific personal data for both the submitter and the recipient. This includes names, phone numbers, cities of residence, birthdates, and email addresses. Submitters must also provide a written description of the wish. Listeners can enter via a web form at www.KAFE.com or by mail. Mail entries go to Scotty VanDryver at 2219 Yew Street Road in Bellingham, WA 98229. Individuals must be at least 18 years old to submit. Either the submitter or the recipient must live within 100 miles of the station transmitters.

A panel of judges selects the wishes to fulfill. The panel consists of KAFE 104.1 staff members and representatives from contest sponsors. Judges evaluate entries based on writing quality, form completion, specificity, and feasibility. Pacific Northwest Media Group determines the total number of wishes granted. The station retains final authority on selections. Prizes are valued based on approximate retail cost and are not redeemable for cash.

Recipients will receive telephone notification. These calls are recorded for broadcast on KAFE 104.1 and posted to the station website. Winners must collect prizes at the PNW Media Group offices in Bellingham. Pickup windows are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Recipients have 30 days to claim their prizes. Winners are responsible for all applicable state, local, and federal taxes.

Wishes that the panel does not grant will appear on a Digital Wish Wall at KAFEChristmasWish.com. Local organizations and businesses can claim these requests. The wall displays entries anonymously to protect personal information. If a business pledges to fulfill a wish, the station connects the organization with the individual. This process allows local partners to step in for requests that fall outside the main prize budget.

Wishes are awarded between November 9 and December 24, 2026. The program is open to eligible Washington state residents who have not won a prize valued at $600 or more in the preceding six months.
