Early voting ends on Sunday, November 1.

Registered voters in Alachua County can still cast their ballots in person ahead of the general election. The window closes in four days. Voters may visit any of the county's eight designated early voting locations. Hours run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day until Sunday.

The Supervisor of Elections Office is located at 515 N. Main Street in Gainesville. Other sites include the Millhopper Branch Library and the Tower Road Branch Library, both in Gainesville. Voters in Hawthorne can use the Hawthorne Community Center. Those in the Alachua area may visit the Legacy Park Multipurpose Center. On the University of Florida campus, the J. Wayne Reitz Union serves as a voting site. Santa Fe College and the UF IFAS Extension Office in Newberry also host early voting.

Voters holding vote-by-mail ballots can deliver them to secure intake stations at any early voting site. Trained attendants monitor these stations continuously during business hours. After Sunday, the only intake location is the Supervisor of Elections Office. It will accept mail-in ballots on Monday, November 2, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The office will also accept them on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All vote-by-mail ballots must arrive at the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3. In-person voters who wait until Election Day must go to their assigned polling place. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. A voter must be in line by 7 p.m. to cast a ballot.

Every voter must present valid photo and signature identification. The election office provides a full list of acceptable IDs on its website. Voters can also find their assigned polling place at VoteAlachua.gov. The Supervisor of Elections Office can be reached at 352-374-5252 during normal business hours.
