Bexar County court records show that Jovon Paxton and Larry Diaz III are each charged with second-degree felony robbery following an incident at Rocky’s Taco House. Police arrested Diaz on Oct. 27, the latest development in the case that began in late September. The two men face bonds totaling $55,000, with Paxton held at $30,000 and Diaz at $25,000.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 at the restaurant located at 2423 Pleasanton Road. According to police, a man and a woman finished their meal and walked to a nearby bus stop without paying. An employee followed the pair outside to request payment. The two suspects allegedly attacked the worker, striking her in the nose and stomach before fleeing the scene.

The arrest timeline reveals a gap of two weeks between the incident and the first booking. Paxton was taken into custody on Oct. 13, while Diaz was arrested 14 days later on Oct. 27. Both charges are classified as second-degree felonies in Bexar County records.

The restaurant is situated on the South Side of San Antonio. The employee was left with visible injuries from the punches delivered during the brief confrontation. The case highlights a dispute over an unpaid bill that escalated into physical violence involving a restaurant worker and two customers.

Court documents confirm the specific monetary amounts for their release. The charges stem directly from the Sept. 28 event where the suspects skipped their tab and assaulted the staff member who attempted to collect the debt.
